Having regard to the need to limit the scope of any risks to health during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and the need to maintain the administration of justice, the President of the Tribunals has issued the following guidance:-
IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON HEARINGS
The President of the Tribunals has advised that Preliminary Hearings to make case management orders will be conducted by telephone conference up until the 1st May.
All Final Hearings and Preliminary Hearings to determine matters such as jurisdictional issues or whether a deposit order should be made which have been listed before the 1st May are now postponed. The administration staff will be in contact in due course. Please do not arrive at the office as we are restricting entry to the building at this time.
These timelines will be subject to review and updated on our website at www.employmenttribunalsni.co.uk.
Please note that the office will close promptly at 5pm each day. As staffing is being reduced on site and plans put in place to allow staff to work from home, it would be helpful if all correspondence to the office was delivered, as far as is practicable, electronically in order for the administration team to deal with your correspondence as efficienty as possible at the current time.
