Online Services

Online services allows you to make a claim or respond to a claim to the Industrial Tribunals and/or The Fair Employment Tribunal for Northern Ireland. You must register with the site in order to use these services.
A claim form, ET1(NI), is also available in PDF for downloading - see Publications.
This page also provides information on the weekly hearing schedule of the Industrial Tribunals and The Fair Employment Tribunal and the main decisions of these tribunals which have been issued since January 2007.

What's New?

You can make a claim to the Tribunals on-line (see making a claim - opposite) by way of this website. Claim forms may be completed or partially completed and saved for completion at a later date. Respondents to claims may also complete their response on-line (see responding to a claim - opposite)

The claim/response form will be received in The Office of the Tribunals where it will be acknowledged. There is no need to send a hard copy by post or by fax.

The Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 comes into operation on 3rd April 2011. The Act makes provision about the procedures for the resolution of employment disputes and the procedures of industrial tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal.

• Repeal of statutory grievance procedures

In the Employment (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (NI 15) the following provisions (which relate to the statutory grievance procedures) are repealed—

(a) Articles 19 and 20;

(b) Part 2 of Schedule 1.

Schedule 1 of the Act contains consequential amendments.
